The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a piece of legislation that protects personal information. It is a European Union (EU) regulation that took effect on May 25, 2018. The GDPR regulates how we can use, process, and keep personal data. It covers all EU organizations, as well as those that provide goods or services to the EU or monitor EU residents.
Article 1. Subject-matter and objectives
This Regulation lays down rules relating to the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and rules relating to the free movement of personal data.
This Regulation protects fundamental rights and freedoms of natural persons and in particular their right to the protection of personal data.
The free movement of personal data within the Union shall be neither restricted nor prohibited for reasons connected with the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.
How we protect your data

We have created Data Protection Policy that everyone can read to understand what we are committed to. It is an official document that we stand by proudly.

Does Simbase comply with GDPR?
Yes, we took all the necessary steps in order to ensure that we are complying with the GDPR. All our current and future employees get training to ensure continuous GDPR compliance. We have also created a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and had it signed by each company that processes data on our behalf. Additionally, you can read our Privacy Policy to find what data we collect and use.
For any requests to sign DPA with us or any other GDPR related questions, please contact us.
Is there anything you personally need to do?
Yes. Even though we process and store data in a GDPR compliant way, we are not responsible for the ways you manage information on behalf of your clients that might make them identifiable. For example, grouping or naming SIM cards in a way that could identify the individual customers.
