APN settings can vary depending on the SIM profile in use. Make sure you select the correct SIM profile so that the appropriate APN settings for your SIM are displayed.

Your APN settings
Without a fixed IP
Pick the APN that you need:
Standard (recommended):simbase — automatically breaks out based on the country where the device is deployed. Use this unless you have a specific reason not to.
Force US breakout:simbase.us — pins the breakout to the United States.
Force EU breakout:simbase.eu — pins the breakout to Europe.
Use a forced breakout when you want traffic to exit in a specific region — for example, to reduce latency to a server in that region, or for data-residency reasons.
With a fixed IP
When you assign a fixed (public) IP to a Black SIM, you choose the breakout location during assignment in the dashboard, then set the device APN to match:
US breakout:fixedip.us
EU breakout:fixedip.eu
The dashboard breakout choice and the device APN must agree. If they don't match, the SIM won't attach. For how to assign a fixed IP and set firewall rules, see Public IPs.
Configure the APN on your device
Power the device off, insert the SIM, power it back on. Make sure the SIM is registered and Enabled in the dashboard and your account balance is positive. Then set the APN using the parameters below:

APN settings on AndroidAndroid devices may automatically select an APN based on the SIM's MCC/MNC values, but this is often incorrect for Simbase SIMs. To avoid connectivity issues, remove any other APN profiles from the device and keep only the Simbase APN configured.
MCC / MNC values
Some devices ask for an MCC (Mobile Country Code) and MNC (Mobile Network Code) alongside the APN. These identify the SIM profile's home network and country.
Most devices set these automatically, but industrial modems and routers often need them entered manually, based on your SIM profile and deployment country. Wrong values can stop the device from attaching, even with a correct APN.
