The Teltonika TRB140 is a compact 4G LTE router. This guide covers hardware setup, the manual APN configuration, an equivalent configuration script you can paste in directly, and a few optional features worth turning on: remote access, PING reboot, and SMS reboot.
Before you start, make sure your SIM is activated in the Simbase dashboard. If it isn't, see Enable or disable a SIM card first.

Unscrew the panel to access the SIM slot.
Insert your Simbase SIM into the router's SIM holder and close the panel.
Screw the antenna onto its connection point.
Connect the power cable to the router and plug it into an outlet.
The router takes a few minutes to start up. Connect your computer to it via the Ethernet port.
Open a browser and go to 192.168.2.1.
Log in with username admin and password admin01.
If this is your first login, you'll be prompted to change the default password, follow the prompts.
Click MODE in the top right corner and switch to advanced mode. The remaining steps assume advanced mode is on.
Go to Network → Interfaces.
Click the pencil icon on the MOB1S1A1 entry.
Turn off Auto APN.
Leave everything else at its default, except:
APN: --custom--
Custom APN: simbase
Scroll down and click Save & Apply.
Your SIM should now connect to the internet.

If you'd rather paste a script than click through the UI, this does the same APN setup plus a set of recommended and optional extras.
Log in to the router and go to System → Custom Script.
Clear the input field.
Paste the script below and click Save & Apply.

The # (required), # (highly recommended), and # (optional) comments mark which blocks you can safely remove if you don't want that behaviour. The required block is the first one, it's what sets the APN to simbase.

We strongly recommend enabling PING reboot. Once enabled, the router pings Google's DNS (8.8.8.8) every 5 minutes. If a ping fails, the router assumes there's a mobile connection problem and reboots itself, recovering from silent drops without anyone needing to notice or intervene.

onfirm your SIM shows as active in the Simbase dashboard first. If it does, double-check the APN value is exactly simbase under Network → Interfaces → MOB1S1A1.
Yes, the script sets the same APN values as the manual configuration. Running both isn't harmful, but there's no need, pick one.
PING reboot only triggers after a failed ping to 8.8.8.8, not on slow responses. If you're seeing frequent reboots, that usually points to a genuine connectivity issue worth investigating.
