Billing

Simbase is prepaid. You add balance, and Simbase deducts charges as you go: data, SMS, the daily fee per enabled SIM, and any network resources you've assigned. As long as your balance stays positive, your SIMs keep working. There's no monthly invoice, no contract, and no overage fee on pay-as-you-go profiles.

This section is the reference for how billing works day to day. If you haven't set up billing yet, start with Set up billing and add balance in Getting started, that article walks through the one-time setup and your first top-up.

What's in here

  • Billable items, everything that draws down your balance: data, SMS, the daily fee per enabled SIM, the Green profile subscription, public IPs, private networks and IPsec tunnels, plus optional monthly add-ons. Includes the disabled-SIM-still-billed-for-public-IPs detail.

  • Data usage and overages, how usage is measured from network records, why the dashboard can lag slightly, and what "overage" means when you're prepaid.

  • Payment methods, accepted cards, bank transfer, supported currencies, and minimum top-up amounts.

  • Account balance & invoices, one invoice per top-up. Where to download them and what's on each one.

  • Auto-recharge, automatically top up your balance when it drops below a threshold, so your balance never reaches zero.
